As a licensed medical Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), IIN-certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and registered Yoga teacher, I help others create daily habits that support their overall health and wellbeing!
When I started my career as an SLP, I quickly witnessed the shortcomings of our healthcare and education systems in teaching us tools for disease prevention, stress management, and overall balance. Feeling unable to help others in the capacity that I wanted to, and weighed down by burnout as a healthcare worker, I experienced inflammation, hormonal issues, and chronic stress. Thankfully, I began learning how to use food as medicine, yoga as connection to my true self, and somatic stress reduction strategies for relief. After studying these modalities, I started implementing them with my patients and yoga students, and I would love to share them with you!
As a yoga instructor certified in the Poly-vagal Theory for therapeutic yoga, I specialize in helping you understand your nervous system and find tools for regulation. As a health coach, I help you find nutrition and lifestyle habits that go hand in hand with reducing stress and inflammation.
